If you’re here, you’re probably dreaming of juicy, authentic boerewors sizzling on your grill. We’re just as eager to get it to you, but as a small family business, we have a few quirks and rules to ensure your sausages arrive in tip-top shape.
How We Work
We’re not a factory—we’re a couple of sausage-loving folks (with a farmer and a butcher in the mix) making boerewors in small batches weekly, based on expected orders. That means we don’t keep a freezer full of sausages waiting for an unexpected order. Instead, we craft them fresh, just for you.
To avoid disappointment, please order at least 1-2 weeks before you plan to tuck in. This gives us time to ensure your boerewors are ready and ready to go when you are.
The Delivery Details
Frozen, Cool, and Green:
Your boerewors is shipped frozen, packed in environmentally friendly, cooled, and insulated packaging. We want your sausages to stay as happy as you’ll be when you taste them.
You Must Be Home:
This is a perishable product, and while our packaging is top-notch, we can’t be responsible if your sausages sit on the doorstep for days (and neither can the local foxes). Please make sure someone is home to receive your delivery. If you’re not there, we can’t guarantee your order will be safe to eat.
Pinpoint Your Location:
Delivery drivers sometimes get lost, especially if they live somewhere tricky like us. We highly recommend using what3words to help us find you. It’s like magic for your address!
